Re: Where are they now?
Whilst I know none of us would be your first choice - I'm readily available to anyone who needs to talk, chat shite, vent, or share silence with if it helps with mental health issues. It took me a long time to realise that a lot of people are actually happy and ready to help with regards to craic li...

Re: For the bots
Beautiful. I can quite clearly picture that taking thuddy, heavy hits and carrying on forwards. It just looks mean and tough and versatile. Again, using large blocky sections which I've struggled with in the past in the way that you have is, as Anna says, a very good job. I don't vibe -too- heavily ...

Re: Where are they now?
No way, I went for Politics and IR. I’m currently in the tail end of completing my dissertation on the events leading up to the annexation of Crimea and ongoing conflict in the Donbas, some very interesting stuff. If you’re interested have a look at some of John Mearschimer’s work. It influenced me ...

Where are they now?
In typing up my response to the thread Anna made in BF General, a thought occurred. It'd be nice to see how people from the community, friends we no longer talk to, creatives we no longer critique, have gotten on in the intervening years. I'll start: I'm in the process of finishing an undergraduate ...

Re: NOTICE FROM THE ADMIN
Nostalgia through the roof. I'm double the age now than I was (I think) when I first started visiting this forum. Even seeing the old-fashioned smilies and craic like that brings back memories. To echo what Anna said, it's heartwarming to see people engaging with the community to some extent. Despit...

Sorry bud, feel free to split it into a separate topic - I took the OP to mean that everyone else should come back and make a ship for this thread.

Re: Adrenaline shot
Eh, so I had a bit of free time after work and before a hefty-arse journey home so figured why not. Inspired by, idk, the Cain-Class from FS2?
Not quite up to Doogie's standard but who cares? Its something.

Rehash of a ship I made for 'Battleship Wars', forever and a day ago.

Re: Deltabacon's grumpy new year.
So, I now work as an Outdoor Activity Instructor in North Wales, working quite often 12+ hours a day. No real time for any me time except on the infrequent occasions that I have days off. Here's the product of said days! http://filesmelt.com/dl/SMscreen01432.png Eh, shoddy experimentation with mixin...

Re: Pimpmygun.doctornoob.com
Here's my entry - a somewhat near-future sniper, designed to be comfortable to use, and featuring dual-bullet loading, which allows the user to fire two shots with one depression of the trigger. This allows the regular infantryman the ability to engage targets from greater ranges than before, with r...

Re: Goodknight - A Text Adventure Thread
Probably a wasted vote, but I think the SSS-5410^7 unit would be best.
Immortality, for one. Stealth in large groups for two and the ability to not be worth noticing for three.

I think I love you, Anna.
Also let's be honest, you let yourself in for a sarcastic (read: humourous) rebuttal when you deliberately repeated the grammatical error.
