interesting ships. the second one is defianately better, the first one needs a bit of a cleaner blend of the industrial and curved bits (the colour scheme accentuates that)

if it is supposed to take alot of hits, I would defianately suggest adding some ablatives.

Also, where the "nose" and "body" meet is a wee bit jarring, I would suggest smoothing that out a bit. Oh, and a third color would do it wonders as well. Other than that, I like it. :)

had the day mostly off, made another ship Lonaar Rapid Assault Carrier http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f108/Dessel_Ordo/Lonaar.jpg Designed to follow closely behind a group of Kal Frigates after they clear away as many smaller enemy craft as possible. Once within engement range, it quickly finishe...

I had the same problem as you when I updated; what I did to get it to work around it was move all the ships I wanted to save to another location, delete the whole BSF folder from my directory, then install the latest version. Works fine for me now

@ Slayer0019: I wish I could do things like that in photoshop, but no, those are just some of the KAE sprites layered over stock aoutocannon sprites. thanks for the other compliment tho. Anyhow, heres another ship I put together. Kal Fast Attack Frigate http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f108/Dessel_...

the weapons are a wee bit on the spam side, but that has been covered already. If you don't want to customize them, cover them with another plate. aside from the other nitpicks that have already been mentioned, I would suggest filling in some of the interior gaps on the ships, and adding more colors...

He says as he stretches the Stock17 ablative-y piece on the ship... Once you stop stretching, though, I see some promise (although my eyes dislike your color scheme, but that's probably just their personal taste) ... I'm no robot, I missed a peice, sorry. fixed. http://i46.photobucket.com/al...

Station defianately looks better... however, the '"docking" section stretched kinda poorly, maybe extend the section a bit to get it back to a healthy proportion?

maybe a compromise then? old nose with the red section from the new one underneath? looks good otherwise tho. (is this with the new nerfed weapon stats, or the originals, btw?)

defianately improving. I would suggest filling in the gaps on the Sparrow, for both aesthetics (I would suggest filling the gaps with a third color), and balance, as there is a straight shot to the core otherwise.

 right... I made noob mistakes  . now that most of the cobwebs are clear, I won't be making any more stretching/sloppy albative type errors. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f108/Dessel_Ordo/JekaiAssaultCorvetteA-1.jpg thats how the ship looks now, better? worse? I will probalby make si...

Jaro Hypernautics (after a long "break" from bsf)

So, this is my 3rd fleet for bsf, haven't played for about a year, but with ASC and the new stuff in .9 I think I'm finally here to stay. right now I have two distinct lines of ships that I'm pretty happy with the look of. Once they have a few more in each I'll flesh out to a few new lines. Each lin...

mind = blown. would I be presumptuous if I were to suggest a link to this things DL? rot.s have been kicking my ass, so seeing how to make them work would be greatly appreciated (also, I would like to test out this armor for myself) I also find it funy that you submitted this for ASC... in a good ki...
