got a mirroring error on your second ship - the megabeamer near the core and the shockbeamer near the front are doubled.

Excessive use of Aegis is frowned upon if you're making a stock ship. Also, the hull design is somewhat unimaginative, but at least you've got the parenting down - many newbs don't know how to parent. Lurk around a bit more to see ideas for both stock ships and... bigger ships. Welcome to the forums...

i'd suggest you flip the section 4's on the sides of the "alligator head" of the battlestar. I'd think that would make the head taper into the "neck" more.
