You need to tell them when to turn OFF by setting the trigger off function, typically the commands of moving or rotating to target (self) or origin (self). The two trigger ON functions should be weapon aquire target and weapon lose target. Play with that a bit and you can tweak it to suit your needs.

Love the airship and especially the little airplane. Nice colors and movement! Watching the animated airship, I see you have solved a problem that has been bothering me. How did you animate the chains driving the lifting propellers? I've tried something of the effect but I cannot get all the chain l...

The broadside AI seems to have everything to do with the 'size bubble' of the ships involved. When a ship first detects an enemy, the sizes are compared and the largest ship (here largest means whoever has the greatest diameter bubble from the shipmaker) will use the broadside AI properly. The small...

Bien4500: if you are talking about the main ships that participated in the last hours of the Bismarck , that would be the battleships Rodney and King George V , as well as the cruisers Norfolk and Dorsetshire . There were earlier running battles with destroyers and aircraft (including the torpedo a...

Once upon a time I used to build and paint model airplanes, tanks and ships. Then I got into miniatures gaming, way back in the days of Warhammer Fantasy ed.2, the original Battletech (when it was called Battledroids), General Quarters (fun little WW2 ship game) and others. Now the miniatures game o...

How do you input values higher than 200 for bullet speed (or outside the normal parameters for other values)? I know there is supposed to be a way, but it's not just typing it in the edit screen. I think I saw how once, but can't find the thread.

I like them. They are kinda clunky and steampunk looking with all the long gun barrels, big round turrets and those nice "steam pipes" sticking out from the sides, haha. The anti-cap artillery I'm not so sure about. All those railguns glued end on end don't quite make it for me, though I d...

I really like the look of the ships up through the heavy cruiser, you can see a similarity with each class. The battlecruiser suddenly pops up and has what I feel is a completely dissimilar hullform. I'm also not too sure of the wing feathers. I guess I am just not liking the BC compared to the othe...

Drop the acceleration to like .01 or .02 then they will shoot away and make attack runs back and forth.

Give those fighters and bombers a high top speed, a low low acceleration and the afore mentioned negative AI range. They then dive on the enemy, strafe on the way through, and zip out the other side, making a long recovery course before returning to do the same again.

Very nice. I particularly like the Natoa, Malvis and Talon. Nice overall shape and weapons layout. While the Sanden and Magance are good ships in and of themselves, they don't follow the same plan of the cooler smaller ships; the "U" shape is lost on them and they become the oft-seen delta...

I am liking that last ship for some reason. I like the big wedge up front with the thin rear, though I'd try to increase the aft area's complexity with more sections that keep roughly to the original shape. I also like the idea of the thin waist, giving the ship a built-in Achilles heel. Maybe keep ...

With the Throne, Monk, Deacon and Bishop, I am not liking the deflector clusters at the rear. All your other weapon placements come out in nice orderly lines and in contrast the deflectors are all bunched together. I think it would look nice to display them in a short line roughly in the same place ...

Back on the topic, I like the look of your ship, it has a nice and deadly silhouette. While the viability of ammo belts is debateable, they add a nice curvy counterpoint to the angular hull, and I also like the contrast in colors. I will have to aggree with Lizzie on one point, I am not liking the m...

Maybe it's a typo, or maybe it's intentional, but your cruise liner and your support ship have ten times the amount of hit points as your combat ships. A 4-section cruiseliner with 55,000 hit points is pretty darn tough!
