Right now, 1318 sections. There is a lot of empty space in it, if you look.

Yeah, I'm expanding the frame to, if not over, the current frontal section. I'm going to make the back more rectangle-ish because it..just..looks..wrong. The large bays on either side are probably going to be able to accommodate at least a few of the stock battleships.

Miniupdate. Sorry for taking such a while, have finals and st00f to prepare for. Anyway, in the process of expanding widthwise. Now that I have a general idea in my head of what it's going to look like, I'm going to have to flesh out the outer engines and their armor even more, because the narrowing...

Yeah, objectively, they're pretty good for ablative armor. It's the acute inward angles that get me, which is why I personally prefer section 25s. You could probably just round the edges off with some other piece, though.

Nice, seems like a pretty solid ship. Repetition looks okay, 'specially with the weapon placement you have going there, but I feel that it needs a bit more variety. The piece of repetition that I really don't like is the group of section 11s. Just looks odd to me, I guess. Overall, a pretty decent s...

In fact, it does, because I determine parenting based on which visible part is outmost and also based on the support structures. This is made further complicated by the fact that I often use very large pieces that only have the slightest bit sticking out. :D I've tested it, though, and so far it loo...

Miniupdate. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk308/Kagu-Tsuchi/BFscreen022.png Thanks to Spoot and DoubleThink for the idea. So far, two small repair bays in the front, currently containing two Hestias [for example]. Larger bays on the sides for larger ships and moar. :D In the end, big mobile bri...

Thanks for the comments! :D @Izual: Yeah, the industrial tanking design was what I had in mind in the first place, hence the blocky angles and structures. Thanks! I still haven't decided on the entire outline for the whole ship, though; I'm wavering between a hammerhead-type or something more simila...

Yeah, my friend pointed it out, too. I don't think the outer struts would be that thick for an x-wing, though. Maybe a bit sleeker. Waaaay sleeker. Anyhow, building outwards from the supports and centerline. Those bays up front will likely be outfitted with demeters; the design was in part inspired ...

All right, I'm listening. I nuked the outer frame at the back because I didn't want to work with it, and I'm now bulking out the centerline and surrounding area. Adding only a few weapon bays because I've got heavily modded weapons anyways. @Seraph: This wasn't the original design I had, so it does ...

Ah, crap. I forgot to outline the parts as I built them.. All the orange veins look like crap now that they clutter it up, too. Anyways, trying to get a feel for the shape of the outer rear. I think I'm going to have to recolour a lot of crap, which defies the whole purpose of me making highlighted,...

@LordGarcia: That would be a pretty sweet ship, but I don't want to go with that style with this one. I've made it even wider now, and a thin, blocky hull would just make it look weird. Maybe try with your own ships? Exomple: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/1825/samael525206mx4.png I plan on a wi...

True enough. Although I really hate to build small, simple engines. These engines are up for grabs, if anybody wants to use them. I don't mind as long as you credit me (and Anty) for them. Yar. Starting to mess around with the core a bit, now. I guess I could build the stabilizers reaaaaaal far back...

Well, that's just great. I was going to add two more engines on the sides for 'maneuverability,' but now I have to make it even bigger with only two engines? Does anybody think I need to move the core forward a bit? I'd have to screw around with the parenting again, but if I make it even bigge...

Updaetz.

Basic spines for the sides. I still doubt it's big enough to be called a titan, though.
