Re: Where are they now?
I feel like I'm about to shrivel up and go old and grey because the dates are telling me it's been 10 whole fucking years since I last posted here. I was a little shocked that I was still able to remember my old login details. I don't know if there's something in Earth's magnetic field triggering ma...

Re: Show me your musical side, Wyrdysm
I love this one I made. It sounds like the theme for a laboratory level in a videogame. I'm thinking Crash Bandicoot in particular. http://tones.wolfram.com/id/GLIJMxa2HU91AJTkBstVnjiBPoXLDhpWb8AEanFKWQ8UIpw6 And the boss fight at the end of that level: http://tones.wolfram.com/id/Glmqw4QJcIgxSlZyVb...

Okay, these are alright, but normal zoom, please! Stuff never looks good if you zoom in that close.

If you need a new map I can whip one up pronto, especially if it's a small one.

Sorry for the wait, I've been on a boat. Without further ado: Chapter 6: Fugitive from Sanity You make ready to leave. After slinging your bloodsoaked lab coat to the ground and changing into something less conspicuous, you decide to change into some shoes that aren't encrusted in human remains. You...

Chapter 5: How Inconvenient Marvin continue to hold out the canister, the crazy grin now seeming to stretch off his face. "Thine choice, brotha. The truth or the law." I've had enough of this crazy bullshit. You grab the gun from the desk and shoot him in the gut. A bloody red wound splas...

I really enjoyed this one, it can get fairly challenging. However, I'd include a couple of extra music tracks. The one you have is charming at first but gets slightly irritating pretty quickly.
It's inspired by Defender, right?

Sorry for the long delay. Chapter 4: Deadworld You eye the new arrival cautiously, half expecting him to jump out of his wheelchair to bite off your face. He doesn't. Instead, he chooses to just sit there, grinning a crazy grin. As surreptitiously as possible, you stand behind your desk and reach fo...

Chapter 3: Sexual Heeeeeealing For a moment, you realise that the living horror movie prop skittering across the floor could earn you a Nobel prize if you managed to capture it and figure out just how the hell it was doing what it was doing. But that would mean getting your hands on it... Fuck that...

Re: Distortion: a tale of galactic horror.
While the lack of responses has been rather underwhelming, I'm bored with nothing else to do, and as such I'm not prepared to let this die just yet. I suppose I'll have to treat two posts out of three as an acceptable consensus for now. Chapter 2: Well that wasn't supposed to happen Even though the ...

Part 1: Eeeek Eeeek Eeeek Eeeek Eeeek You roll over the bed, slapping the off button on the alarm, shutting its nasal call off. You really can't be bothered today. You wonder if you could contact the health authority and tell them that you can't work due to religious reasons. Hey, I just joined the...

Distortion: a tale of galactic horror.
This is me, doing a thing. The quest bandwagon seems pretty popular, so here I go. Introduction It's the year 2370. Mankind, aided by the discovery of advanced warp drives that can propel starships between stars in almost an instant, has spread to numerous worlds. Human colonies now nestle and thriv...
