Well, it's safe to assume we're over a century in the future, so ion drives would've probably been sufficient by then. And you could always have chemical manouevreing thrusters; pretty much any other engine type that could accelerate quickly for 'em.

I like 'em. But the Calrava (being a broadside destroyer, afterall), has only forward and backward facing autocannons. I'd recommend, y'know, putting those on the sides.

Those are some pretty cool looking ships there. Like what everyone else said, awesome fighter. Do you believe you've achieved the F-99's 'swarming' effectiveness? Seems like you could make some nice dogfights.

Minor wall of text ahead! Skull's right. Dogfighting would be pretty much impossible. The smallest things I'd see 'dogfighting' are frigate class vessels (size depends on you). And landing them, that would be pretty damn hard. I don't think fuel would be as big as a problem as it sounds. You could ...

Ironically, I just made the custom bullet the default bullet. Seems to be some kind of problem accesing the default when it's set to default (very redundant, I know).

The ships do have a certain 'Terran' feel to them. Personally, I think you should go for a grey-blue colour scheme.



P.S. You should try to do something about the 'bridge' that Krishach brought up. It kinda just sticks out and doesn't look very attached to the ship.

I like it. The asymmetry was pulled off quite well on those ships, but as you've probably already heard alot of, pretty much every ship past the Dragoon has a crapload of guns. It throws off the look, and seems to me that would look kind of awkward in combat (with 9 types of guns on the same ship). ...

Aside from the geometry issues regarding the ship, there seems to be just a tiny buit of weapon clutter to me. Also, the aegis on the sections near the core look funy, and sort of stick out. I would just take them out all together. And the grey sections stick out as well. Also, it's not truly that b...
