Hazelwooders Ground Units : download added (yes it will lag)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

If you want close ups of any part/layer let me know.

i have decided to adopt the layering effect for this as i think it works really well, i like the way you see it being built rather than just finished and the way you can blow it up revealing the layers underneath.

Mammoth Tank
from left to right, 1st layer the inner workings (bottom), 2nd layer armour (bottom), 3rd layer inner workings (top), 4th layer armour (top), 5th layer support for cannons.

ImageImageImage ImageImage
6th layer Mammoth Tank assembled
Image

Medium Tank (may change to light tank after balancing)

from left to right 1st Layer Tracks, 2nd Layer Armour, 3rd Layer Turret.
ImageImageImage
4th Layer Finished Medium Tank (turret armour and finishing touches for armour layer)
Image

Rocket Artillery (note some of the layers have changed but this is shown in the fully assembled image)
from left to right, 1st layer tracks, 2nd layer support for armour, 3rd layer armour

ImageImageImage
4th layer MLRS and cockpit (fully assembled)
Image

Mammoth Tank target practice (2x speed)

Image

Adv.H Infantry and Adv.A.T Infantry target practice (normal speed)
Image

Rocket Artillery target practice (normal speed)

Image

here is a video of the barracks being assaulted (it lost, its not designed to fight off tanks on its own)
* note there are layering errors with some things but thats just because when you have ships jump in it just happens

Image

video of Light, Heavy Tanks and construction yard (this isnt finished)
Image

layering effect on Rocket Artillery (as requested)
Image

download for tanks and infantry (no structures sorry because they arnt finished)
these tanks will most likely lag your computer (due to layering) if you have more than 2 (maybe 1 on some people computers).

It's a blocky piece of shit? No?

I understand it's the first layer, but at least with vHorpax, he tells us what's it's gonna be. It looks like a space station/carrier. Generally, it's a better idea to show people what you can do besides the inner workings. If you notice, one of vHorpax's first posts has an ACTUAL SHIP.

If you show me an actual ship, I'll criticize it constructively. Otherwise, it looks like a blocky piece of shit, and it is a blocky piece of shit because you didn't specify otherwise.
It's not my fault I can't take your post seriously.

That may well be a mistake.

The section usage is good, although, without some basis of what it's supposed to be, the shape seems rather boring, as well as the lack of color.
you so negative, give me a littlewhile to sort out the mistake and i will upload the rest of the "ship"

Well, it now looks like a mammoth tank or... nope, it's just a mammoth tank. I'm sorry if you think it's something else, but that's a mammoth tank.

It's also an example of great section usage.
It looks great, and it's obvious what it's supposed to be, these are really the only things you need to care about with fanships. :3

That indeed looks damn cool. I wanted to make a bolo tank or something for awhile now but could never get it to look right. I think using the layer method works really well for it, and the treads look especially nice! So there maybe some ground battles in the future, especially if we were able to change the background in the sandbox...
