BSF-ish Sprites

Post by TheBlueEcho »

And note that I'm not doing these because of recent comments. I did these beforehand, and because I had the urge to do something pixelated.

I like the first(animated) and third on the third row, but some of the others are either too big or don't seem to fit the style.

Yes :) . It was the first Weapon that came to mind when I started.

@ BoVine: Yeah. I had a feeling about that. Glad you liked some of them though.

@ Arc: True.

meh, I'll 'bet' most of the players like to dream of their own custom sections and weapons anyways, so if it at all matters, i like these. whether they go in or not. I've done a couple sprites as well (not as good, of course...)

the Tesla coils, i assume when actually firing would hold their glow just a little longer, by switching between the last and second last frame while holding in firing mode, as single bolt blasts of electricity wouldn't be visible, but that's mostly my opinion. weather they actually do or not doesn't matter. looks like you've combined the pulsar and gattling blaster there, too.

if you have time, I'd like to see more.

This one would be good for a mass driver. The large, open-clawed one looks like it could be a fighter bay or a beamer.

True enough. Although it looks pretty damn functional that way.

Yeah, I'm trying to fix the slowness. Not that great at animation, as you can see.
