Damage formula's

Post by Anarki »

Can someone quickly figure out the average DPS formula, and any other formula's related to weapon statistics?

I just want to quickly make a program to easily make a weapon with a DPS similar to a blaster.

Also, does anyone know where an updated list of average DPS for weapons are?

Frames between clips: Normally, reload time + (rate of fire * (clipsize - 1))
Clip damage: damage * clipsize
Damage per frame: Frames between clips / Clip damage
Damage per second: Damage per frame * 30
(floating point numbers rounded to 4 decimal places)

---------LIST STARTS HERE---------

(This is my assumption of the rate of fire for a repeater gun)

This is really useful, could it be added to the Weapons and Modules Guide?

Updated the stats for the PD weapons; they were out of date and both have had slight reductions to their DPS since whenever. Still decently powerful though.

Bump so this is easier to find for tournaments. Maybe a copy should be put there too.

MOD EDIT; July. April. See the dark abyss of necro. If you want this to be readible for the Tourneys, you post a link to it somewhere in the Tourney forum where it is found even easier. Now you compell me to giving you a warning. Way to go, twit.~AD

EDIT; Sorry, I should have thought of that.
