Weaponized Test Ship

It looks good, but even for all the reflectors I would bump up the hp a little. Like to 350. But thats just me. Looks like a long range damage sponge. Looks like it has no offense.
Im baaaaaaaaaack!
Again.

Ahh. I always get my modules mixed up. Thought the boosters were platform fabricators. And now I know what the red blob is.Danny420Dale wrote:It's actually a long range Death Ray. Check the stats on the Shockbeam!
Also, the weapon-studded prongs around and sphere forward of the Shockbeam are a specific anti-Lancet-Beam defense.

Death Blossom, or, 'I bet they weren't expecting the Spanish Inquisition from *that* long range!' It engages its targets at 2000, but it can quickly dispatch a large dangerous target like a Nagaya III from point blank! I added four railguns for pinpoint targeting when I found out the Leviathan's inner Aegis modules were getting shielded from the Monster Death Ray.
I just can't bring myself to say it... It's too bad grammar... I L... I laughed.I bet they weren't expecting the Spanish Inquisition from *that* long range!
But someone was awfully bored ^.^

Purpose-built warship based on the Death Blossom concept. Uses Seraphim shielding technology as well, gaining the advantage of lighter weight and fewer components for the same protection. This allows for a much heavier defensive armament up to and including heavy anti-ship weapons such as the multiple Quadblasters fitted, as well as a large potential for expanded armament or defense systems in the primary hull ring around the Core.
The Death Blossom II has a stunning 56 Booster reactors feeding the Primary Shockbeam Weapon as contrasted with the original Death Blossom's at the time unprecedented twenty-eight reactors. The Shockbeam is half again more powerful than the DB I's prime weapon. Secondary offensive weapons consist of a quad battery of high-powered burst-fire Railguns for long-range precision fires. A possible refit option is to replace the wing Quadblaster cannons with twin Railguns on wide-angle mountings.
For defense, it sports dual-layered interceptor/CIWS screen consisting of enhanced-range fully-automatic Flak and Particle Guns, as well as comprehensive Point-Beamer protection. Semiactive defense consists of six Gravitic Impeders with an option to fit at least three more.
One caveat of the Seraphim Bubble shield technology is that it is strongly contraindicated to close to inside the bubble's extent when attacking a hostile target. The enemy weapons will very likely strike the hull directly unless the secondary Deflectors are active. Combat against groups known to use Kinetic Missiles is also advised strongly against.
